"What Charlie did for our wedding day is beyond any money paid. He treated us like family and helped us with so many things. Following his suggestions helped us create so many fun and unforgettable moments. We are huge fans on EDM music and I think Charlie is the best EDM wedding DJ in San Diego if not the entire world! His mixed our favorite house, trance and techno tracks, and even played his own music which our guests totally loved! Being from Europe and having somewhat higher expectation, I was a afraid I would have a hard time working with a DJ. But Charlie ended up being so easy, understanding and thorough that this entire experience was stress-free, fun and enjoyable. He ended up being our unofficial planner/coordinator and official best friend!"

"I hired them to provide sound equipment, uplighting, custom gobo monogram and videography services for my wedding. Working with DJ Charlie was really easy. He responded to all of my emails very fast and he took the time to answer every single one of my questions. I really enjoyed their "easy online booking/planning system" and I'm glad I didn't have to make any phone calls, leave voice messages, then wait for a call back, then call again, etc. Everything was done online! On the day of the wedding their staff was very polite, friendly, helpful and professional. The sound was great and our dance floor was packed the entire evening. The lights looked very beautiful and everyone was taking pictures in front of our gobo :) The video turned out great too. I got the "raw" package but I think I will hire them to do the editing now. I can't stress enough how grateful I am for all the services you provided and I will be recommending you to everyone I know!"

"We booked Golden Gate Sunrise Entertainment for our wedding last weekend. They were extremely professional and did an incredible job. They offer a package which includes live music for the wedding ceremony and for the dinner. We even booked a sax player through the DJ to play alongside him during the party. DJ Charlie was so detailed and really helped us plan out the perfect wedding. We felt so at ease with him because he really executed every detail. "I hired Charlie after visiting his booth at one of the bridal shows where he a had a live pianist which made him stand out from other DJs. Then I learned more about his business and booked his “Red Diamond” package. I had a pianist for my cocktail, a live jazz trio for my dinner while Charlie was the MC and the DJ for the rest of the wedding. I can’t stress enough how personal and thorough Charlie was during the planning process as this was really important to me. We had three meetings before the wedding and I even got to choose the color of his speakers (black or white) and his outfit for my reception. I trusted Charlie shortly after we met for the first time and never had to worry about the quality of his services at my wedding. I recommend him to all of my friends and everyone out there who’s looking for a very personal type of service and most likely my sister will hire Charlie for her wedding in 2014."

"I hired Charlie to DJ my wedding and he also took care of up lighting and dance floor lighting. I chose him for many reasons, but one of the main ones was that his packages included unlimited time of his DJ service, which somewhat reduced the cost of my long 9-hour wedding. Charlie took care of all of our needs and he definitely knows what he’s doing. He played all the songs we wanted to hear and kept everyone happy and dancing! "I did business with DJ Charlie twice. He was my wedding DJ and MC in September and very recently he was hired to provide up lighting and dance floor lighting at my brother’s birthday party. The only reason he wasn’t a DJ there is because it was on a short notice and Charlie had already been booked. My family, my coworkers and my friends were very happy both times. Charlie knows what he’s doing and he is more than just a DJ. He knows how to work with all kinds of people to make them happy and avoid any possible conflicts or misunderstandings. He is also an excellent MC and at our wedding he made sure everyone knew what was happening or was about to happen and when. I’ve never seen so many people pleased with the music and dancing for so long as it was at our wedding. All of Charlie’s lights look really good; otherwise, we wouldn’t have rented them again. I’m very happy I finally found a DJ who gives his advice but always listens to me and who I can trust. Charlie was just hired to be a DJ at my friend’s wedding next summer."

"DJ Charlie was the DJ at my wedding in December 2012. Having met with five different DJs, I picked DJ Charlie simply because he was very attentive and seemed to be the best qualified person for the job. During our meetings, Instead of trying to sell his services and telling us how good he was, he tried to help us with planning our wedding by clearly answering all of our questions and giving us the information we needed. We ended up with the “Red Diamond” package, which included all of his services and for many guests our wedding turned out to be the most luxurious one they've even seen. We had a pianist for our ceremony, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and a DJ, an MC and a saxophonist for our reception – all provided by DJ Charlie. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like and I can’t stress enough how happy I, my husband and all of our guests were with his services. Some of my friends have already asked me for his phone number and all I can say at this point is keep up the good work, Charlie!"

"We had Charlie DJ my wedding in September of 2012, and without a doubt I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in choosing a DJ for wedding. He is a genuine and hard working person, and his DJing abilities are quite impressive. Having been involved in at least 8-10 weddings in which a DJ was the primary source of music, I can honestly say that Charlie's work is second-to-none. That alone is enough reason to hire his services, and when you combine this with his extreme flexibility, excellent MC skills, ability to read the wedding crowd and take care of your requests, your decision should be very easy. "DJ Charlie can really read the crowd and knows how to start & keep the fun going. The most important thing to me, though, is that he knew that it was our day and he made sure every little thing was just how we wanted it. Charlie took extra care to get all the complete information, proper names with correct pronunciation and what songs were on the “Definitely play” list, and what songs were on the “Do not play no matter how many people ask for it” list. He also made sure to provide all the songs we wanted. We are very grateful for the job Charlie did, but even more, for the way he did it."

"Charlie Walkrich was the DJ at my wedding in August, and he was *excellent*! My husband and I wanted some music that is outside the norm for typical weddings (i.e. hard rock). Charlie was able to blend in our favorites while still pleasing the entire crowd. He really took our musical tastes into account. We had asked for an extremely out-of-the ordinary song to be introduced to, and even though he didn't have it in his musical collection, he was able to get it for the wedding. We also had a few songs on our "don't play" list, and he stood firm on not playing them even with many requests (and even with a proposed $20 bribe from my sister!!). We had many compliments on how great the DJ was, and how well the music fit the tastes and personalities of me and my husband. Thank you, Charlie!!!"

"Tony and I just got married on June 28th and Charlie was our DJ. I can't tell you how many people came up to us and said how much fun they had. EVERYONE was dancing, young and old alike! Some DJs can be intrusive and "try to be funny" during weddings, but Charlie was a perfect gentleman who was very laid back and could really read the crowd. Charlie played classical for our ceremony, then our own selection for cocktail hour, then Frank Sinatra style music for dinner hour, and finally great dance music afterwards. He kept our limited amount of activities on track (i.e. cake cutting, and bride/groom introduction) and I would highly recommend him for your wedding as well:-)"

"We hired DJ Charlie for a triple birthday party of three husbands all turning the same zero with about 90 guests. Charle was the ultimate DJ from the moment I contacted him until we said goodbye. Our needs for lighting, play lists and other preferences were met with complete professionalism and great support. The afternoon of our outdoor summer party, the skies let loose with rain and thunder. What was to be an outdoor evening party and barbecue with an outdoor dance floor and DJ Charlie doing his magic, turned quickly into our having to change our plans and move the party indoors. Luckily we had a spare empty room near the patio where Charlie set up his equipment, lights etc. Charlie was unfazed by the last minute outdoor to indoor change and was even unfazed when half way through the party the weather changed for the better and Charlie accomodated us on the outdoor dance floor with his lights and great sound. His music quality was great, the lighting fabulous and so many of our guests commented on Charlie's great DJ job. Plus there was much wild and fun dancing by our guest list of varied ages. We will use Charlie in the future and would recommend him for any event: wedding, birthday, anniversary etc. He is the ultimate DJ - professional; always striving to accomodate; and a personable and very, very nice person."
