An MC (emcee or master of ceremonies) is the official host of an event who usually speaks to the audience, makes announcements and introductions, presents performers and generally keeps the event moving. Most San Diego wedding DJs sell themselves as both DJs and MCs while only some wedding disc jockey companies provide two separate persons for these two completely different jobs.
